For estate planning attorneys, financial advisors and CPAs
MyLifeMemoir is a client gift for estate planning and financial clients that preserves what their plan cannot: the family’s stories, values and memories. Rosie, an AI interviewer, asks your client about their life out loud, and their answers become a written book their family keeps.
You spend months helping a client decide who receives what, how to reduce costs and taxes, and how to keep the family on good terms afterwards. The plan you build protects what the family owns.
What it does not hold is who the family is. Where they came from, what the client’s parents taught them, why the business was started, what they hope their grandchildren understand. Clients mention these things in planning meetings all the time, and they rarely end up anywhere.
A legacy gift for clients that captures those stories sits naturally beside the work you have already done. It says you were listening to more than the balance sheet. Our founder, an estate planning attorney, writes about this here.
The same way anyone gives it. There is nothing for your office to administer.
Give your client the printable gift card with a note from you, at signing, at a review meeting, or with a holiday card.
The client creates their own account. The first 30 days are free and no card is asked for. The account and the memoir are theirs.
When the trial ends, whoever adds a card pays $159 for the year, and it renews until cancelled. Full pricing and terms.
If you would like to cover memberships for several clients, or talk about an arrangement for your practice, contact us and we will work it out with you directly.
Nothing technical. They open MyLifeMemoir in a web browser on a computer, tablet or phone. Rosie reads one question at a time aloud, in large type, and they answer by talking. Rosie then asks about something they mentioned, which is how the stories nobody has heard tend to come out. Their spoken answers become text they read and approve before anything is kept, and they can add their own photographs beside the stories.
Twelve chapters run from childhood and family roots to the lessons they want passed on and messages to particular people. Family members can be invited to add memories and photographs, which wait for the client’s approval. There is no schedule and no deadline; ten minutes on a Sunday is enough to make progress.
